what the Hell ?

#1 son took today off work to sort his car out only he thought he had left his bank card in bag he used for gym last night. (#4's school bag, school had already begun for the day). later after hes been to the school he realises he left it in my car last night. He borrowed my car to go to gym.
I pick him up after work to go sort his car out. we get half way to the city when he realises hes left his car keys at home !!!!
where is the sense in that ?
finally we manage to retrieve his documents from his car but it is too late to do anything else. Tomorrow he has to get to the city and go to the council offices once he has tax disc then get across the city to get his car released.
sometimes I wonder about that boy grrrr

lost!!

yesterday was my youngest son's first day at senior school. throughout the day I wondered how he was getting on, he has gone to a different school to most of his junior school friends. The school he goes to now is only a few minutes walk from our house and his older brothers all went there. It is not top of the local league table but it is a fairly good school and my other son's have got on well there. I had just
stopped at the gym on my way home from work. when #4 son rang me, he has lost his school blazer!!. he remembers wearing it home from school but has lost it now. Doh... then it must be in the house silly. A few minutes later he calls to say he has found it amongst his brother #3's things. Phew I can't afford to buy him a new one after just one day.

Later in the evening after I had returned to the house after my date for the evening had had to cry off due to a crisis. I got a phone call from #1 son. He came out of work at 8pm his car was not where he had left it at 8am. So now I had my own family crisis, good thing I hadn't gone out drinking as I had to drive to the city to get him. he went to the police station who cofirmed what we had guessed. His car had been taken away by the council as he had been rather foolish. He had ignored all my lectures about getting his car taxed. He had bought it at the end of july and not received the tax form yet. he has now spoken to the council and should be able to get it back on thursday when he has a day off work. I am hoping that he has now realised how important it is to pay his bills first and socialise after, not the otherway around.

give me strength!!! at least #2 and #3 didn't lose anything.

The sun is shining in my world today ;-)

On the whole it has been a good day although it could have been better

I didn't get to sleep before 1am

woke up at 2am feeling horny thinking about my imminent adventure

woke up again at 4am (kids were still awake!!)

6.15am got up made breakfast and blogged.

found an off line message from Forest

'we never seem to be here at the same time'

I reply I am here now

then realise his message was sent at 10pm last night (Iwas on computer then but offline)

I text him that I seem to have missed him again

not much later and he comes on line and we have our first msn chat for about 2 months
it is sooo much easier than text. But all too soon I have to shower and go to work. I am leaving earlier today as I am taking my computers to be looked at. I have got a good deal. One pc gets a full health check, the other I believe needs a new hard drive (I was told last year that the hard drive falls over and will do this more and more frequently, this seemed to be the case). It turned out that the hard drive is fine but one of the connections on a cable attached to the hard drive has sheared off. I had a second RAM installed, some drives which were missing were downloaded ie sound. I had all this done while I was at work and collected them on the way home. Total cost a massive £67 so I am well pleased with that. even if I was left with a mere 70p in my purse.

On the down side although it had been very grey all morning it was dry however this changed in time for me to get wet leaving work. By 5pm it was dry and even sunny!!!!
computer is working well, wireless adapter is working but just wont connect with router, I phoned my broadband provider....they dont support this adapter I must contact the supplier. But by this time the supplier was out of office!! so I still dont have a wireless connection.......oh well maybe tomorrow or the day after or the day after or some day.

Oh and a big suprise to me my son told me last night that he doesnt like his car he wants to sell it. He only bought it in march!! so he spent last night looking for cars online this morning he went to look at a peugot 106 (he has 206) but he rang me on my way home to tell me that hes found a new car.....hes swapping it for his current car. He is getting a Suzuki Vitari estate (better for carrying equipment for his band Jaimison)

I wonder how long this one will last before he decides to change it

Tibble

I no longer have a heap of red junk to drive.

I swapped it along with some of my mothers money for this (well one the same)

my mother has already named it (Tibble) !!

now I no longer have to worry about whether I will be arriving

now I have no need to worry about parking

I have a car that has power assisted steering once more

I did however have a couple of suprises when clearing out my old car

in the glove compartment a bottle of beer and in the driver's side pocket

not just one but two (unopened thank heavens) condoms.

my eldest son had been driving my car for 3 months before he bought his own car

today we were discussing the things he will need when he moves out next week.

we were talking kettles, irons, cutlery and crockery. But I bet he hasn't realised he will have to buy his own toothpaste, shower gel etc.

he has already offered to have his brothers stay for a few days while I have a clear out here.
